1.

Under the Site Management category, select the Site Editor link

User should be directed to the Site Editor page where a description of the site and the site participants can be found, along with links to various actions

2.

Select the Add Participants link

User is redirected to an Add Participants page

3.

Enter the following text into each text area:

  • Username(s)
  • kadams
  • kahearn
  • aallen
  • Guest(s) Email Address
  • test@rsmart.com
  • test2@rsmart.com
  • Select the radio button for Assign each participant a role individually
  • Select the Continue button

User should be directed to the Choose a Role for Participants

4.

A table of usernames will be present with a select box to choose a role for each¿choose the roles as follows:

  • kadams - student
  • kahaearn - student
  • aallen - Instructor
  • test@rsmart.com - Guest
  • test2@rsmart.com - Teaching Assistant
  • Select the Continue button

User should be directed to an email notification options page

5.

Select the radio button for: Send Now

  • Select Continue

User will be directed to a confirmation page for adding the users and emailing them notifications

6.

Select Finish

User directed to the Site Editor page and the recently added participants should be visible in a Participant list with the appropriate roles assigned to each

7.

Under the Participant list, for kahearn, in the Status column select Inactive, and in the Role column select Tech Support

  • Select the Update Participants button

Page should refresh with the default Status select box set to Inactive and the Role select box set to Tech Support for kahearn

8.

Check the Remove box next to kahearn

  • Select the Update Participants button

Page should refresh with kahearn no longer visible in the Participant List
