Verify that the Web Content tool is functional

User should be able to display web content through the Web Content tool. User should be able to edit links and tool names.

Select Web Content link under the My Tools category

User directed to the Web Content Setup page

Select the Options link

User directed to the Customize Web Content page with the following fields:

  • Tool Title
  • Page Title
  • Frame Height (drop-down box)
  • URL
  • Open in new window? (Checkbox)
  • Update Options button
  • Cancel button

Fill in the fields as follows:

  • Tool Title: Test Title
  • Page Title: Test Page
  • Frame Height: 600 pixels (default)
  • URL: http://www.google.com Select the Update Options button

User directed to the Web Content page where the title should be Test Title and the specified URL should load a web page at the specified pixel size. In the tools listing, the tool should now be renamed to Test Page.

Select the Options link

User directed to the Customize Web Content page

Check the box next to Open in new window?
Select the Update Options button

User directed to the Web Content page that should be blank

Select the Home link

User directed to My Workspace page

Select the Test Page link

A new popup window opens to the specified URL

Close the popup window

Popup window closes and user should still be at the My Workspace page

Select the Test Page link

A new popup window opens to the specified URL

Select the Options link in the popup window

User directed to the Customize Web Content page

Remove the checkmark from the Open in new window? option and select the Update Options button

The popup window refreshes with the web page still shown

Close the popup window and select the Home link

User directed to the Web Content page where the specified URL should be loaded

Select the Site Setup link

Select the checkbox for My Workspace and then select the Edit link
