Sakai/OSP 2.6 and beyond Development Status

• QA – Marist is working on testing. There are some issues that may be user error or may need writing up in Jira. They have written up about 6 issues. They have selenium installed on a couple machines and are using some scripts. They wanted to know if there is a way drive IE with it. Noah said to try the standalone, Selenium RC version. Someone at rSmart knows how to do it, so John Ellis will put them in touch.

• SAK-14998: downloaded portfolio archive url-encodes the FILENAME and not the URL in the html that refers to it (should be vice-versa). Beth assigned it to herself.

• LOI should be joining us soon.

• Content Authoring and Sakai 3 should be on our radar.

• Teggin had some issues with bug reports on edit matrix form. Noah and Beth are trying to narrow down the issues. Applies to 2.5x and has to do with people having trouble saving their forms. It is very sporadic.

• VA Tech had a question about storage and what other institutions experience. How much storage are we taking up for portfolios? Teggin proposed setting up a confluence page for discussing retention policies.

• Lynn will be completing a document comparing the current OSP capabilities and Indiana's changes by the end of the month. The community should look at the issue again when the document is done.

• The expected time frame for releasing 2.6 is available at the 2.6 Release Page

• Next week we should talk about people's vision/priorities for the future.
