Meeting Minutes for July 19, 2010


  1. Community Updates
    • OSP JIRA review status update: Several dozen jiras have been closed (duplicates, already fixed, patches applied, better suited to Sakai 3.0). We will continue the review process this week.
    • Independent OSP release cycle: All were in favor of moving forward. Action items are to contact Anthony to assist with the next release. We will continue the current numbering scheme (2.8 will be next, followed by 2.9). The OSP 2.8 release will include current features in trunk. The OSP 2.9 release will include IU enhancements (e.g. Roster synchronization and/or email notification preferences). Releases will be scheduled based on available functionality.
  2. Sakai/OSP Maintenance Status 
    • This list will only list those issues which are actively being worked on. JIRA will serve as the backlog (leveraging priority and votes for selection).
  3. Sakai Development Status (next major release cycle)
    • This list will only list those issues which are actively being worked on. JIRA will serve as the backlog (leveraging priority and votes for selection).
