Agenda

  • new meeting time
  • updates on where we are with the different projects

Notes

  • Moving weekly meetings to Tuesdays at 1pm
  • Marc is going to spend less effort on agenda making. We'll spend the meetings from this point forward doing updates on the various subprojects, and address issues in the second half of the meeting.
  • UCB Update
    • Judy is finishing up mockups for the Roster tool based on requirements on confluence. VTC scheduled for Thursday to review requirements and mockups.
    • Awaiting Gradebook wireframes from Kristol for comments feature.
    • Daphne is working on the redesign for Section Info. There are significant design issues based on evolving requirements. Two big issues:
      • Bulk creation and multiple meeting times per section are hard to combine (Daphne may have an update)
      • Grouping. By adding grouping, we can constrain the UI for enterprise-managed sections.
  • Stanford & Arizona
    • Duffy is working on a CM browser, which will hopefully plug in to Site Info as a helper. He's got some wireframes/prototypes, but is worried about accessibility on Ajax-based tools. Will contact Colin (question) at U. Toronto to get more info on accessibility of Ajax apps.
    • Daisy will switch to 100% CM next week. She will be working on CM API implementation along with Casey. In the past, Stanford has parsed an XML doc from the registry to do bulk updates. They don't have the ability to get materialized views like UCB.
  • What should be split out as different sub-projects? Should the home tool? Yes.
  • What should be posted to the CM list, and what should remain under the subprojects? Josh thinks we should use the CM list/confluence space to track all of the subprojects. Daphne thinks we should have links in CM to the subprojects. Everybody agrees.
  • Marc asked whether email notification is part of the comments work in gradebook. It is not.
  • We need to coordinate a CM planning meeting for Atlanta. We'll do that next week.
