Notes

  • on Thursday, 7/20 2-5pm PDT there will be a stake-holders/mini-summit meeting with UCB  to review the requirements (new use cases from user research, initial use cases beginning of CM project and those coming from existing Sakai tools) and decide on the scope of the CM project for the rest of 2006.
  • Oracle has 2 people tracking what we would be doing. They have no resource to commit for 12-18 months. They wanted to review the CMAPI but hasn't sent any questions to Marc yet.
  • rSmart said they took an earlier version of CMAPI 'cos they were trying to do integration for their clients (?)Duffy suspected that it could be as early as the one in edu/. Anyway, they are interested in getting involved and may have developer to commit to the project. Marc will be asking for 25% FTE minimum.
  • Aaron made some HTML mock up for RSF but we haven't heard from him since then.  We will leave it till we hear from him again.
  • Vacations:
    Dalphne: out on 7/26,  back on 8/7
    Lydia: out  one week in August - not decided which week yet
    Duffy: 7/13 - 7/14 in Vegas,  9/25 - 9/29 vacation
    Marc: out last two weeks of Aug
    Daisy: out 7/14 - 7/21 and last two weeks of AugustÂ
