Summary

SAK-9683 - Getting issue details... STATUS is the overall tracking issue for upgrades for Sakai 2.5.

  • Current list of things to consider upgrading for Sakai 2.5:
    • Tomcat
    • Spring
    • Java 1.5 to 1.6
    • Maven to 2

Strawman Proposals

  • We treat the 1.5 to 1.6 upgrade just like we did with 1.4 to 1.5; ensue Sakai runs on both 1.5 and 1.6, while continuing to test on and recommend 1.5 until we have enough positive feedback from 1.6 places, then switch to testing and recommending 1.6.
