Chat - Email Tool

Chat/Email Tool

Speaker(s): Jeff Ziegler

Date: Friday 8:30 am - 9:10 am
Room: INTL 6

Session Abstract

Chat and the email Archive tool are two communication tools that can be added to sites. The Chat tool is used for synchronous communication by members of the site. Different Chat rooms are supported. The email Archive tool accepts email and forwards it on to site members. Permissions and options control who can send to the site. Both Chat and email tools archive their messages for later review. This session demos the tools and will discuss permission and options available in each. Some examples of their use will be shown.
