OCW Tool

Speaker(s): Zhen Qian

Date: Friday 8:30 am - 9:10 am
Room: INTL 7

Session Abstract

The OCW tool helps automate the OCW site preparation and hence makes OCW adoption affordable. Faculty members choose course materials from the course site, make modifications, clean copyright information, and export via IMS-CP zip file to the eduCommons site. Support people create a candidate OCW site, import the zip file, then follow the workflow to establish and publish the site.We will discuss the OCW best practices, tool design, user's experiences with the tool, etc.
