2011-05-23 Conference Call

Meeting Minutes for May 23, 2011

  1. Community Updates
    • Teaching and Learning (T&L) Group. There is a Design Lenses meeting today. Continuing the discussion of syllabus, components identified in table one, is anything missing, and if so, what. There was a full T&L Meeting last week, looking mostly at the conference. Minispecs meeting was postponed.
    • Portfolio Visioning.
    • OSP Help Updates.
      • Jan will probably talk about our experience at the conference.
    • Planning for the Sakai LA Conference in June 2011.
      • Two Half-Day Pre-Conference OSP Workshops.
      • OSP Innovations.Panel. Jan still hasn't received notification. In the program under Expanded Solutions. Involved a track change. They are looking for room for Jacques, but he hasn't heard anything. It should still be possible to get presenter's names into the program. Nancy can present virtually. Do we want to do any demos? NYU has a session already. Jacques could have a piece Monday morning, and then in the Panel. IU can talk about Reports and other new functionality. They have a new feature of exposing evaluations within Assignments that have been associated with a Cell. That should go in the Innovations panel, while the Reports stuff should go Monday morning. Should Chris present on Jira for functional people?
