Groups accordion interaction alternative

Starting at the people & groups dashboard.  Users can create a shell group without filling in all the relevant information.

 
User selects "+ group".  They can choose to create several groups at once.  In this case, they've chosen 1.   Groups & categories are little goofy here as far as where they get inserted but the intention is just to show some rough ideas.

 
After creating the title for the group, user can then go the group and everything not completed will be editable.  Tabs are shown as an alternative to the accordion.  I don't love them because we already have tabs in the navigation 1 level up which might be confusing.  A wizard isn't a good solution here because that assumes everything is required up front.  There is the additional helper in the right column to make sure they can discover what they need to do with the group and to help them fill in the information over time.  So, the list is dynamic and only suggests activities they haven't already done.  And of course, they could make the list go away completely. 

 
 Rather than using a button dropdown the "+ groups" could open a small lightbox that allows for a bit more complex interaction.
