Default Permissions for CIG Participant in a Project CIG

Areas in which the CIG Participant role is active: Matrix, Wizards, Portfolios, Styles, Layouts, Forms.

Step	Action	Expected Result
1	Click Matrix	The "Matrix Manager" page is displayed.
2	Verify that CIG Participant does not have access to change permissions or to create a new matrix.	User should not see the links for "Create/Edit" or "Permissions..." listed at the top of the "Matrix Manager".
3	Click one of the cells in the Matrix that is in the "Ready" state.	The "View Cell" page is displayed.
4	Click Manage Cell Items... link to verify that user can add items from Resources area. Select an item from Resources to add to the Matrix cell. Click Finish	The "Add Attachment" page is displayed. User is able to add an item from Resources. The "View Cell" page appears with the new item listed under "Cell Items".
5	Click the OSP Wizard button from the left menu	The "Wizard" tool page is displayed.
6	Verify the default permissions settings in the Wizard tool.	There are no links listed at the top of the OSP Wizard tool.
7	Click the Portfolio button from the left menu	The "Portfolio Manager" tool page is displayed.
8	Verify the default permissions for the Portfolio tool.	Role = Maintain = All boxes are checked (Delete, Comment, Create)
9	On the "Portfolio Manager" page, verify that the default permissions appear.	The following links should appear at the top of the screen: "New...", "My Comments...", "Comments from others..."
10	Click the Portfolio Template button from the left menu	The "Portfolio Template Manager" tool page is displayed.
11	At the top of the "Portfolio Template Manager" page, verify that a CIG participant can create a new portfolio and import an existing portfolio.	The following links appear: "New...", "Import..."
12	Click the Portfolio Layout button from the left menu	The "Portfolio Layout Manager" tool page is displayed.
13	On the "Portfolio Layout Manager" page verify that a CIG Participant can create a new layout.	The "New..." link is the only link that appears.
14	Click the Forms button from the left menu	The "Form Manager" tool page is displayed.
15	Verify that a CIG Participant is unable to create a new form.	There are no links listed at the top of the "Form Manager" page.
16	Click the Reports button from the left menu.	The "Reports Tool" page is displayed.
17	Verify that a CIG Participant is unable to create or run a report.	There are no links listed at the top of the "Reports Tool" page, and there are no reports listed that a CIG Participant can click on to run.
18	Click Glossary from the left menu.	The "Glossary Manager" is displayed.
19	Verify that a CIG Participant is unable to create, edit, or delete a glossary item.	There are no links listed at the top of the "Glossary Manager" page, and any glossary items that are listed do not display the "Edit" or "Delete" links.
