File Upload question delivery seems to be working correctly.  Resolving as non-issue and moving other issues discovered in this testing to new jiras.

Thanks Marissa!  I think the issue about downloading attachments to question text might need a new JIRA because the functionality of the attachment feature is the same for all types of questions in _Tests & Quizzes_.

Assuming I had not used an attachment for the question text, it sounds like the File Upload question was functioning as expected (you could hear and submit an attachment to the question).  I'll resolve this and create a new JIRA to address downloads of file attachments.

We created the JIRA, it is SAM-3331.

There is a JAWS key command alt+n that allows a user to open or save a document.  If hidden text could tell users to use this command, then that would be helpful.  Maybe something like:  "Use JAWS key alt+n to open or save the document."

Hi Marissa and Morgan,

Thanks for the additional detail!  The confirmation page not being read will require a new jira.  Could you please create one, or should I create it and you add details/testing steps?

Can anything be done from the Sakai side to mitigate the issue of not knowing that additional action needed to be taken on the file being downloaded?  I don't think we can do much about bad browser behavior, but would some hidden text help?  If so, what might it say?

Hi Tiffany,

This is ISU's accessibility testers. The yellow banner is from the browser (we use internet explorer).  The issue we had with the submit for grading confirmation page was that it was not read by JAWS. We had this issue on each of quizzes we tested.  Sorry for not being more specific!

Thanks,

Marissa and Morgan
