Hi Ron. After Thanksgiving would be great - thanks very much! Have a good break!

Hi Tiffany,
Yes our test team can validate this, unfortunately due Illinois State University Thanksgiving break they will not be able to get to this till November 30th, hopefully this timeline is acceptable. I will add this to their task list and once validated we will let you know.
Thanks
Ron

This is the parent jira grouping together the screen reader issues for questions. @rmmcget could your testers please examine this to verify the priority of the issue for fixing?
I will add more testing steps and a quiz with an appropriate question for testing as a zip file.

Numeric Response and Calculated questions should be handled similar to Fill in the Blank. Am I correct to understand that --SAM-3131-- fixed this for Numeric @Sam Ottenhoff? If Calculated Questions were not fixed, could similar code be applied for Calculated questions?
Leaving https://sakaiproject.atlassian.net/browse/SAM-3308#icft=SAM-3308 as needs testing/not open until checked in 12.

Sounds like we will need sub-tasks for this one, if/when we get development attention on this one.
File Upload: Label should be question instructions, possibly using aria-labelledby.
Fill in the Blank: I'd recommend a title property on each blank of "please fill in the blanks" OR a label preceding the question of something like "Please fill in the following N blanks" (https://sakaiproject.atlassian.net/browse/SAM-3131#icft=SAM-3131)
Matching: Label should be the choice
Numeric Response: I'd recommend a title property on each blank of "please fill in the blanks" OR a label preceding the question of something like "Please fill in the following N blanks with a numeric response"
Short Answer/Essay: Character count should be labelled. Text area should have the question stem as the label.
Others I'm noting I don't have a suggestion for:
Survey matrix: Maybe a title combining row and column?
Calculated Question: Stem of the question should be the label.
Student Audio Response: ...I think this is fine. I'm not familiar with best practices here.
