Canned and Constrained UI

As a framework (or suggestion) for the general SRG UI, I'm thinking about something similar to Google Notebook

As per the 'Guide Author Interface' section of Bill's Research Guide document, the Google Notebook UI model provides us with:
- A re-orderable rendering of the current content - using JavaScript drag and drop
- A metadata/properties panel (almost)
- A section-creating area
- A new-item staging area
- A new-item creating "windowlet" (almost)

Similar to Canned Search, but end with a search box (plus additional fields, perhaps).
