This is a variation on the image that came out of the meeting with Jim, Bill, Gaurav, Steve, and Chuck. Still unclear are what I mean by the "Citation Service," the nature of the respository, and what the nature of any "value added" services the Library Server might provide will be.
The drawing is meant to indicate that (a) OSIDs can reside either in Sakai or the Library Server, (b) some sort of translation is being done between the SRU OSID and the various vendor-specific OSIDs, and (c) the process of dealing with a citation in Sakai (creating lists, default display) is handled by a service that can be used by any part of Sakai, not just the specific Twin Peaks application.
In the notes, I mention specific technologies (SRU, MODS, CQL), but of course none of that is necessarily written in stone and most of it hasn't even been really discussed by the larger group yet.
