Agenda for Oct 2
1)Â Â -SAM-1604Â (Indiana's contribution to allow for edting random draw sections)--Andrea verified in trunk, looks good. Stanford and Jim expressed support; some concern over not easily knowing which students had seen edited questions, but should be able to track those people down with a little effort (affected users will self identify if notification is sent, can use time stamp of submission and edits to see if they were affected)
2)Â SAM-1368 (Indiana's Event Log contribution) --was committed per agreement during last meeting but Sam wasn't able to get IP address to work properly--spec only shows it for half of items, so not sure if that behavior is expected. Keli at Stanford raised some concerns about anonymous user identities being revealed, though Andrea said she tried to break it in local instance and hasn't been able to, but it has been awhile. Keli will look at this on trunk.Â
  Â
Possible agenda items for next time:
-SAM-1751 (sam's honor code contribution): not in trunk yet
-SAM-1240 (stanford to revise translation)
-SAM-948 (turned off by default)
-SAM-1117 (from Bryan Holladay) - ability to suppress question's point value while student is taking assessment. Sorry I can't find the JIRA #. Jackie provided some feedback about how this feature would be best deferred until the new Settings page is developed but Bryan would like to contribute his code to SAMigo trunk (if I recall correctly). Thoughts/input from community?
-SAM-1752 (new settings) Keli still on hook to break this into bite sized pieces. However, may also propose new idea to separate access settings so that they can be manipulated from outside SAMigo.
