Meeting Notes:
- Jackie giving background on Extended Matching Items type done by UCT--not completed, hired contractor Jack Smith to finish up by end of year
- USUHS contracted with Unicon to do a different type of Matching (https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAM-1430)
- example five vocab words choose from 8 definitions. Must have more matches than choices.
- Distractors are not penalized currently, if there is time might discuss how to add that, but how would penalties work? Most packages don't take away points.
- Lynn brings up that there is negative marking in multiple choice
- Unicon approaching this agilely, so perhaps USUHS will add penalties
- label language may change and pull down shown in screenshot of authoring interface might need to move next to match. In the process of switching "match" and "choice"
- currently thinking about preventing baseball from being chosen three times. Lynn thinks it should not be limited so less likely to guess. Aaron says perhaps there needs to be an option.
- no import or export
- maybe try out branch in early November
- up to us to decide if on by default orÂ
- A bit on Calculated question; Dayton developed against 2.6 and a few bugs so updating for curent version; If interested in testing branch, send note to list or to Aaron. similar timeline to matching. Changing identifier. Aaron will add link to branches in both tickets.
