Description

The program administrator creates a portfolio CIG, chooses the tools, and sets up ownership and permissions that will be required for the majority of the system tests.

Note: This entails creating a CIG and then adding the CIG Coordinator as a participant with the maintain role.

Create the Program Portfolio CIG

Select 'Worksite Setup' from the menu to the left.

Display Sakai 'Worksite Setup' page with list of CIGs.

Select 'New' button.

'Creating a new site' form displays on page where user can choose the type of site.

Select 'portfolio website' radio button and click 'Continue' button.

'Project Information' form displays with blank fields.

Fill site details using Test Portfolio Site then select 'Continue' button on bottom of the form.

'Tools' form displays

Select all check boxes on the the form and click 'Continue' button.

'Customize Tools' form displays

Fill site details using Test Portfolio Site then select 'Continue' button.

'Set Site Access' form displays

Check ' Can be joined by anyone with authorization to log in' check box, select 'access' from 'Role for people that join site' select box and click 'Continue' button.

Read only 'Confirm Your Site Setup' form displays.

Select 'Create Site' button.

Display Sakai 'Worksite Setup' page with list of CIGs, including CIG you just created.

Add the CIG Coordinator

Click the checkbox next to 'Program Portfolio'
Click 'Revise' at the top of the page.

The 'Program Portfolio' summary page appears.

Click 'Add Participants' link at the top of the screen.

The 'Add participant(s) to Program Portfolio' page is displayed.

In the 'Username' textarea, enter 'kfoster'.
Click 'Continue'

The 'Choose a Role for Participants' screen is displayed.

Click the radio button next to 'maintain'
Click 'Continue'

The 'Add participants to Program Portfolio' page is displayed.

Click 'Continue'

The 'Confirming Add Participant(s) to Program Portfolio' page is displayed. The name, id and role of the CIG Coordinator is listed.

Click 'Finish'

The 'Program Portfolio' summary page appears.
