Below is a working table summarizing the issues raised by the End-User Support community. The group is now actively working to flesh out the summaries to reach a point at which we can engage developers in formulating and implementing solutions.

Forums		Confusion around topics / threads (how to get started) Forums generates a large number of support tickets because it is unclear to users what they are supposed to do to setup the tool and when they are finished. To Robin's point, most users create a forum (thinking of it as a topic) and are confused as to why their students can't reply to it. WebDAV	SAK-11149	Doesn't work correctly in Windows Vista / Mac	Inconsistent, cyberduck for Mac, need a fix in Sakai rather than a local patch (Jeff Ziegler)
WebDAV	Currently 36 unresolved items	Poor integration - does not work correctly or consistently	Basically, WebDAV is and has been consistently problematic for Sakai users since the first instance of Sakai went into production . Although Sakai User Support staff offer various workarounds and temporary fixes where possible, it is often the case that the workaround does not work for all users and, in most cases, the user's reported issue is resolvable only by development. As there is no track lead responsible for WebDAV in Sakai, historically it has been the case that WebDAV problems have been addressed sporadically. WebDAV is a vital, integrated part of Sakai, and the inability of a large number of Sakai users to use WebDAV within Sakai should be viewed as a consistent loss of functionality that needs to be addressed in some organized fashion. We ask that Sakai resources be directed toward an effort to categorically and systematically resolve the continuing problems our users face in using WebDAV or to develop an alternative to the use of WebDAV within Sakai.
