Prerequisites List

• Must have a working knowledge of Java

• Must have installed the following software:

  • Java

  • Maven

  • Tomcat

  • Eclipse

  • Subversion clients

  • MySQL Database

• Must have checked out the Sakai cafe distribution (typically the most recent branch (e.g. 2-6-x) or trunk)

• Must have the Sakai code imported into Eclipse

• Must be able to build and run Sakai (http://localhost:8080/portal)
