Plus: When using 2 different servers, on first launch the instructor is sent to "Home" on the Plus server

All previous testing of the Sakai Plus Site was done with the tenant, course and plus site all being on the same server.

With the tenant being on one server, (I used mysql8), the tool and course added to a different server, (I used maria), the first launch of the plus site briefly displays the dashboard for the plus site, then kicks the instructor out of the plus site to the “Home” page on that server.

I’m attaching the log files for both tests - the same server and using 2 servers, in case there are any clues why there is a difference.

This is not a bug - This is how the tutorial works - when the very first launch for a brand new user is not to the /portal URL, the tutorial foreces the user to navigate to /portal and then displays the tutorial.

The solution for Plus servers is just to turn the tutorial off in sakai.properties.

portal.use.tutorial=false

Or for plus folks - just accept the tutorial as is and then navigate to the right site afterwards.

If folks really feel strongly - feel free to file a Jira on tutorial.
