Thanks Wilma! I’ve created and will set this Jira to verified since the option is working

Let’s do a new Jira to set the default selection for sending to the Gradebook. We may need a property so that institutions can choose if they want selected or deselected by default. However, I do think the OOTB setting should be to send to GB.

Created an assignment sent to the GB and one that wasn’t. Verified that for no GB item, the grade displayed in the assignment after being released (checked also before it was released). Verified that the item sent to the GB is displaying correctly and only when released.

I saw that you wanted the checkbox automatically checked to send to the GB. Should it be fixed in this Jira or a new Jira?

I’m seeing the following in the server logs and am wondering if it should be a WARN message:

I’ll get on it soon. I realise we can’t kick the can down the road for much longer on this issue. Hopefully it won’t be too much work, just a marker column on the grade assignment tables and some minimal tool work in the gb business service code. Hopefully. I don’t need to implement the entire “store grade data only grading service” thing for assignments yet, just the “hideable gradebook entry” idea.
