Samigo: Tests & Quizzes - Fixing/Improving UI/UX of assessment settings

Description

There are several places where the UI of the assessment settings need to be improved and fixed. In the following document shows proposed changes that were discussed in the Sakai UX group. Note that there are proposed changes, that are not covered by this, and it's parent issue. There are other issues covering them. But this issue is trying to incorporate all UI changes, with the exception of the "Exeptions to time and delivery date". That section is done with SAK-34323.

Test Plan

  1. Make sure site for testing has users, groups and the Tests ¬ Quizzes tool

  2. Check if the following is applied correctly in both unpublished and published Settings

  • In html: heading structure is right (h1, h2)

  • Description and attachments are grouped together in a logical way and it is clear that they are displayed to students before beginning assessment.

  • Honor Pledge is enabled by default

  • New Security and Proctoring exists and matches the refence

  • Text field for allowed submissions is prefilled with "1"

  • Selection drop-downs for time limit only appear if Yes is selected. (in Availability and Submissions)

  • "Exception for User" is selected by default

  • Only if "Yes, show feedback to the student on specific dates" is selected, associated options are displayed below

  • Only if "Display questions and additional feedback" is selected, associated options are displayed below

  • Only if "Linear navigation to qu..." is selected, Linear access help block, Question layout and Mark for review are displayed
