Taking two assessments via Lessons causes the second assessment to be zero-scored

Description

I believe has introduced a big regression. To replicate:

1) Setup two one-question assessments "a1" and "a2" and publish them
2) Go to Lessons and create two sub-pages, one with a link to "a1" and one with "a2"
3) Login as student and go to Lessons
4) Take the "a1" assessment, answer correctly, then immediately take "a2" after (via Lessons)
5) Login as instructor and observe scores.

The result should be correct points for both assessments. Observed behavior is only "a1" is scored correctly.
