Preferences: Alert when hiding a favorite not working

Description

In versions of Sakai prior to 12, there was a message that would pop up when you try to hide a site that has been favorited:

Hiding a favorite site will remove it from your favorites. Do you wish to continue?

This is no longer working.

Looks like the message problem was introduced in https://sakaiproject.atlassian.net/browse/SAK-32296#icft=SAK-32296 and the onclick event was introduced in -SAK-33302.-
