Calendar tool bug when user's timezone differs from server timezone

Description

When a user sets his/her timezone different from that of the server, then whenever the server and user timezones are on different calendar days, the calendar dates are shifted and do not line up properly under the days of the week. See attached image for an explanation. Also attached is a patch we used to resolve the problem locally.
