QA VERIFICATION ON TEST26 SERVER
QA ENVIRONMENT:
Using PC Vista Enterprise SP2 Firefox 3.6.3 on:
UCD TEST26 SERVER
SmartSite@UCDavis - 2.6.2.13_a1 - Sakai 2.6.1 - Server "rsmart26test2"
QA TASK:
verify that the 8 pieces of GB setup information (set using the checkboxes on the gb setup page) are reflected in the exported structure of the GB..
QA TEST PLAN:
1) try turning on various combinations of the checkboxes
2) export the gb with structure
3) verify that the items checked in the setup panel are included in the export file.
QA RESULTS:
Tried several combinations of checked boxes and exported the gradebook structure for each combination.
All boxes that were checked at the time the export tool is selected, are included in the output file, both for .xls files and .csv files.
QA SUMMARY:
Verified all checked boxes on GB setup pane result in an added row in the export file, containing an option title in one cell and a 'TRUE' setting in the next column ,
QA PASS.

All of the elements listed above show up so far. I haven't tested for scale extra credit yet. Thanks.
When exporting a gradebook's "grades & structure", all gradebook settings (especially the ones that control the final grade calculation processes) should be included in the export file so that they can be used for auditing of the data and results externally, and used on import to a new gradebook to create one that acts exactly the same as the source gradebook, and produces the same results from the data.
A) currently, at the gradebook level, the settings that are not exported are:
Scale extra credit as if every item is graded:
and
Display course grades:
Display released items:
Display mean:
Display median:
Display mode:
Display rank:
Display item statistics:
Note: of these, the "Scale extra credit ..." flag setting is the most important for auditing (of the grade calculation process) and duplicate gradebook creation.
