Sakai EduTools Entry
EduTools provides a community focused site that supports Course Management System (CMS) feature comparison and community discussions of each product. EduTools developed the site to solve two long-standing issues: Keeping product information up-to-date an facilitating wider community involvement. You can check and compare any two or more products, side-by-side. Each product review page also has a linked discussion forum where users can have conversations about the product's features. Please participate in the discussion forums, if you have time. Both adopters and product providers will benefit from healthy dialogue about CMS functionality.
Sakai was invited to be one of the first products on the new site to help provide a balance of options to potential CMS adopters. Since that first review (of Sakai 2.0), Vivie Sinou has assembled a review of Sakai 2.3, and more recently Hannah Reeves and Jason Shao lead the effort to review Sakai 2.5.
