Syllabi and Subject Outlines in Sakai
During the Sakai 2010 Conference in June, several schools connected over the syllabus, or subject outlines. Either they had designed and developed working prototypes in Sakai 2.0 that created syllabi that link to Sakai 2.0 tools (Assignments, Forums, Resources, Tests & Quizzes) or were thinking specifically about how this might work in Sakai 3.0. Those schools were
- Charles Sturt
- HEC Montreal
- Learning Activities (multiple, including Stanford University, UC Berkeley, etc.)
- University of Michigan
- University of Virginia
- (please add link to bullet above that links to any page you think gives an overview of your work)
We hope to feed any requirements and ideas that these schools have discovered from their 2.0 work into the design of 3.0.
Comparison of Syllabi and Subject Outlines in Sakai: We noticed that all solutions contained roughly the same elements.

An interesting use of syllabi from different organisations from American Academy of Religion.
