Use this page to collect issues discovered with how Sakai Citations Helper exports RIS, as well as issues with how Sakai constructs the citations to begin with.

Issues with Sakai's RIS export

  1. Except for types THES and CONF, Sakai uses A1 instead of AU. In the RIS specifications, there is no such thing as A1.

Issues with constructing citations in Sakai

  1. Sakai has conference proceedings as a type (CONF) but probably what is more desirable is a conference paper from within a proceeding (CPAPER).
  2. ELEC: Sakai doesn't provide a way to specify the author of an electronic resource/web page.
