1. Citation Editor Integration

1.1 Verify that you can launch the Citation Editor Integration Tool from various Sakai tools

From the Syllabus page, "Create/Edit" a new Syllabus and "Add" a new Syllabus item. The page should refresh to show the "Add Syllabus" page.

1.2 Verify that you can add citations using the Citation Editor Integration Tool

Conduct a search. "Add" a few citations and verify that: 1) the Citation Editor Integration Tool pop-up window stays on top of the Sakai window, 2) all citations were added to the body of the rich text editor, 3) each citation starts on a new line, and 4) the following format should be followed (it is in Journal Article form; similar fields apply to other Citation Types):

Title.
Author 1; Author 2; and Author 3. Journal Title, Vol(Iss) Date. Pages.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.3 Verify that you can close the Citation Editor Integration Tool window

1.6 Verify that you get an SFX Menu when clicking on the citation title

1.6.1

Click on the title of a citaion. This should cause another window to open with an SFX Menu in it. Verify that the metadata SFX is displaying (Journal Title, Volume, Issue, etc.) matches that of the citation you clicked. The SFX Menu may not display all the metadata that we know about, but it should not miss metadata that we do have (i.e. we have a Volume number, but SFX is showing a null Volume number). Do this for all citations in your Citation List.
