Gradebook Requirements Planning 3-9-2007

Preliminary Agenda

The primary focus of the meeting is to discuss the requirements to
be implemented by Indiana over the next several months, hence:
defining the general Scope of this work and confirming/choreographing
available resources which can be applied.

REQUIREMENTS
Discuss: Mark's grouped requirements table the place to start or does Indiana have a more
specific/limited vision that prevails for now?

SCOPE
Need to discuss exactly what Indiana will be working on between now and summer.
Will Indiana make all the decisions on the items below or do we want at least an
approval process from this group (e.g. a confluence voting page)?

    -API changes envisioned
    -Data Model changes envisioned
-Wire Frames: are they fixed, does the group want  discussion?

PROGRESS
Last time promises were made for progress by today.  Have these occurred:
Please add if I missed something

-Mark and Mike were to talk about getting more use cases, requirements.
-did Thomson succeed in delivering code to Lance?
-does Indiana have specs/requirements to share
-did Oracle get us specs on the IMS export to consider?

OTHER TOOL INTEGRATION

Along with the API changes comes the potential need for new integration/refactoring of other tools with the gradebook.  Things to discuss
-will there be any required changes that all tools will have to make to work with new GB?
-are there requirements from particular tools that need api changes beyond what Indiana's work might envision?  If so how do we get these incorporated into the Scope with low burdent to IU
-who will communicate to the other tool teams (Msg Ctr, Assignments, Samigo, SCORM)?
