Portalino

About

Portalino
A light-weight Portal server application providing the user with tabbed pages of categorized links to resources. At Roskilde University, one tab is auto-populated with appropriate links based on the membership of departments and if they are staff or student members. The user can freely create new tabs, new categories and of course new links (internal or external http(s) links. They can add custom links to their instance of the common links, and given the rights, they can populate common links for a subgroup of other users.

Support in Sakai:

Sakai 2.0 is (apparently) supporting linking directly to sites, independent tool instances and pages in sites. Portalino can address the single sites in the corresponding tab and cathegory (as in: "Active Courses" cathegory in the "Common Links" tab) and users can add deep links to Schedule in My Workspace, for instance.

Instutitions interested in integrating Kerberos with Sakai: (add yourself)
