The Course Management Work Group is building the framework for integrating institutional data with Sakai. We are conducting the research necessary to understand enterprise views of "course information". Our designs stem from a user-centered approach to researching how schools conceptualize and use their own data. A course management abstraction that matches real use data will empower Sakai to support the models of the educational world, and for some may be the only route to integration.
