Calculated numerical question type

Description

Tests and quizzes currently does not support scientific users. At a minimum, they need a numercial question type and a web editor that supports equations.

Apparently 2.3 will create a numerical question type with fuzzy match. But we also need the ability to generate questions with random values, and a calculated correct answer. In the end we might do well to call on some open-source matlab equivalent, but most faculty would be happy with fairly simple formula.

I don't much care about, nor have much input on, the details of implementation. I think faculty would be willing to type the formula using something like Fortran notation. However if you want to do a formula-creation GUI, that's OK with me. My initial reaction is that there are times when a GUI is more trouble than it's worth, and this may be one of them. If you ask the user to type the formula, you'll want to syntax check it at the time, and probably generate a few sample values with the computed result, so the user can verify it's what he wants.
