The regression script mentioned “Calendar displays again and the event should not have been added” so I thought the Calendar page had to be displayed. Yes, one would enter some details then hit cancel after which it would take you to the “List of events” page.

I’ll tested this on 25 and I couldn’t reproduce this issue.
It looks like this is only an issue if you actually fill in some fields and hit cancel. If you just cancel without it’s fine.
So maybe there was some change in 25 that fixed this.
Also if you are already on List of Events and cancel it goes back to List of Events and that’s expected.
When I login as an Instructor and try to create an event in the Calendar tool, clicking on the “Cancel” button navigates to the “List of Events” page instead of the “Calendar” home page with the calendar being displayed.
