Thanks for testing @Andrea Schmidt . The main purpose of the reset button is to reset the tracked learning progress. I didn’t want to add even more controls to the UI for switching the between groups. A workaround would be to refresh the page or navigate between tabs.

Created a feature request for an easy way to switch groups without losing progress: https://sakaiproject.atlassian.net/browse/SAK-49331
Tested with a manually-created sites and groups, and also an “official” site with sections.

It seems if you reset the game, you will be sent back to the page that allows you to choose a group, but then you also lose your progress. This does not seem ideal, especially in a course with a few hundred students.

@Miguel Pellicer @Markus Stetschnig (EDF) the one issue I found wth this is that if you’re playing using a group, there’s no option to change the group or return to the front page of Name That Face. Obvs, you can go back to the main Roster page then go into another group but it’s not a brilliant experience.

works well and doesnt display groups where there’s no students with photos

Currently there’s group support for instructors that only have access to specific groups, this is about adding the ability of requesting playing with a group and not the full site.
