I believe ical4j doesnt support all day event which is why there’s a restriction

I don’t believe “all day” events have ever been supported in the Sakai calendar unfortunately in an import. Issues back to ones like which was closed as being “Won’t Fix” is just one I could find but I know I’d filed others.
Part of the problem was that the UI would need to be changed to support these better as well as the import and the bakend so it was a large problem. It looks like the Sakai 22 calendar supports all day events now in the UI right? So maybe this could be revisited. I’m not sure if this is the case as mentions that it still doesn’t support All Day.
Is this just about “all day” events? Maybe you could update the title to reflect that to be like “Issues importing all day events into calendar”.
Also I’m removing the Please Merge from 21 Status since it won’t get back to that as that’s using the old calendar.

Calendar imports .ics file events if there is an actual start/end date/time. For “all day” events, (going from midnight to midnight), it just ignores them totally.
I’m attaching an .ics file for import and a csv file which shows the events in the .ics file.
