@Adrian Fish The student sees the bullhorn notification after the instructor posted the assignment, once the student submits an email for the submission is received.

No notification in bullhorns for the submission - believe this is correct from previous behavior.
There is another notification in bullhorns when the instructor grades and releases the assignment.

However, there is an issue with the bullhorn notifications on 23 & 24. See the screen shot. Since this was already merged, I created a Jira.

@Adrian Fish Do you want the test plan updated to check for an email upon submitting an assignment instead? Is there any other tool that needs to also be checked at the same tie to make sure everything is working as expected?

I checked sakai 20 and setting up an assignment doesnt trigger an email to Joe Student. That’s pretty conclusive in my book.

Just checked mailinator - had a student submit an assignment on 23x for another Jira, and those emails do arrive.

I don’t think I was right about new assignments triggering an email. I don’t think they do, but I’ll check in the morning. I think you get an email when you submit as a student.
