Assignments: Displaying "Ungraded" on non points type assignments is just visual clutter. Leaving it blank like ungraded points is preferable.

A pull request has been created, "SAK-47636 assignments: display "" as grade for ungraded submissions", you can see it at https://github.com/sakaiproject/sakai/pull/10782

T&L reviewed this at our 8/3/2022 meeting. The group thought that the behavior for Points - where the grade column is blank for ungraded items - was preferable. The “Ungraded” label seems unnecessary/redundant since submissions are also labeled as ungraded in the Status column when submitted prior to grading. Also, having more text on the screen increases the cognitive load and makes the table more text-heavy and cluttered. We thought that the other assignment grade types should be changed to model the Points behavior instead of the other way around.

@Christina Schwiebert Maybe points assignment should be like other three… but I think TL should say something about this problem. Thanks!
If you don’t grade a points assignment, the grade column is just empty in the grading view, for each user row. However, in other types of assignments you see the string “Ungraded” in that column. This is not really needed as a blank column tells us what we need to know.
