Description
Discussions is still using older image icons rather than FontAwesome icons. These look dated, and in some cases their buttons look strange when the browser width is made smaller. The icons' use on various buttons is also inconsistent. On some pages, the icons display on specific buttons and on others, the same buttons lack the icons.
FontAwesome icons should be used consistently throughout the tool wherever icons appear. If icons are found on some buttons, they should also be included on other, similar buttons.
Some example pages with various icon usage:
Main page of Discussions
Access a topic by clicking on its title.
Access a conversation by clicking on its title within a topic.
Access an individual post by clicking on its subject within a conversation. Note: Here you will find icons on lots of buttons that were NOT present on the same buttons which appear when accessing a conversation by clicking on its title within a topic.
Statistics and Grading > select a student.
Statistics and Grading > select a student > View Full Text of Authored Messages.
