CLONE - Assignments(group submission)-bullhorn shows far too many notifications

If the instructor creates an assignment which is only available to a certain group, and turns one submission per group on, after grading the students receive far more bullhorn notifications than they should. This will work with small groups and is less of a problem, but when groups get very large the student could have hundreds of notifications which cannot be deleted unless they scroll to the very bottom of the notifications and click clear all, or delete them all one by one.
