Quizzes: Single selection, Single correct question loses partial credit on import

Description

If a multiple choice question with single correct - > enable partial credit is exported, then imported, it loses the value for the partial credit.

I’ve unassigned myself from this ticket as we have moved to Canvas at UVA. However, looking at our old notes from when we fixed it in August 2021 (Sakai 20.2) I see the following:

  • Seems this issue was introduced in

  • This issue is due to the import process, not the export process. We verified this by being able to import a Sakai 20 quiz into Sakai 11 with no issues.

  • The fix involved us changing the line found at . In case this points somewhere else before being fixed, we changed the line of code responsible from

to

We made this fix in 20.2, while the area of code that needs to be fixed appears to be the same I haven’t kept up with the latest Sakai changes so I’m not 100% sure. Regardless hopefully this helps!

I seem to have missed getting notified of the question asked, but yes, you can edit the quiz after import and fix the partial scoring.
