This does not affect 19x or 20 and I didn't see the error in Chrome. With the browser console open and clicking on Sites, the following error displays in the Firefox console:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: https://qa12-mysql.nightly.sakaiproject.org/portal/favorites/list
Line Number 1, Column 1: list:1:1
This does not seem to affect favoriting/unfavoriting or reordering favorites.
