Student response in Matching and Multiple Choice questions with images shows HTML code instead of images

Description

In order to reproduce this issue an assessment must be created with a matching question in which options include images (as for example first image attached shows). 

As a student submit a response to this assessment. 

Then as instructor go to submitted assessments page and click on "Questions" option. 

In the "Student response" field of the table with students submission instead of a preview of the image in the response HTML code is shown (as the second attached image shows, highlighted in blue)

Hi,

We have just reported the issue that in that spot in the table was appearing html code instead of the image that the code refers to. The professor complained of that issue. 

I do not know for what reason the images are included right now in that spot. Probably, as you suggest, just putting the answer number/letter in the spot is a reasonable option.

 , what is the professor trying to learn/see in this view? If they are trying to see how many students answered particular questions incorrectly, it seems like the statistics page is more useful? Is there any reason we couldn't just put the answer number/letter in that spot in the table?

We took another look at this at today's Sakai UX Group call. We liked the result showing the answer better than the raw HTML. We were concerned about how long or wide the table might get if the questions contained a lot of images or if the images were very large in dimension.

We're going to try out the result now that it is in Sakai master and if we have any concerns, we'll create a new Jira issue.
