Student does not have permission to take quiz through Lessons

Description

The student is unable to take a quiz through Lessons. I published a quiz, linked it in Lessons, and the student was able to click the link, click continue to start the quiz, then receives a message: 

You do not have permission to access this assessment. Please contact your instructor if you have any questions.

To check if if only Tests & Quizzes are affected, I created an assignment, linked to it in Lessons and the student was able to submit.

I checked the logs and do not see any errors for Lessons or Tests & Quizzes.

Verified SAK-40523, so this is no longer an issue. Also tested taking the quiz by url and it works.

The same thing happens when using the assessment's direct URL, too.
