This affects the 2.9.x server and trunk.
With graded comments, only the first and last entry on the grading pane are successfully sent to the gradebook.
To reproduce:
As the instructor, add a graded student content section to the Lessons page. Enable graded comments also.
Add a graded comments section to the Lessons page.
Have 3 or more users log in and create student content, add comments to the student content, and add comments to the Lessons page.
(You need to have a minimum of 3 comments to grade)
As the instructor, click 'Show Grading Pane for Comments on Student Content'
When the grading pane displays, enter points for all users, then click 'Update points'
The first and last items will display a green checkmark, while anything in-between just keeps spinning. In order for the points to be sent to the GB, the instructor has to come back to this screen, (the first and last scores are set), then reenter the missing points.
If there are a total of 5 comments to grade, it will take 3 tries to send the scores to the gradebook.
1) The first and fifth scores are sent
2) Reenter the 3 missing scores. The second and fourth scores are sent
3) Reenter the missing score. The third score is now sent
