Verified for rc02: 2.9.x (rc02) 05/10/2013 -r123989 - Sakai 2.9.2-rc02 (Kernel 1.3.2-rc02), with IE9

Verified in 2.9.2.rc01 (https://sakai-29.rutgers.edu) using FF-20, IE-10, & Chrome-26.

Can confirm at IU applying this fix solved the issue.

Perhaps Longsight has an outdated version of LB that is missing this fix?

I tested on Longsight's server and on 2.9.x. The uploaded zip file works correctly in FF and IE9 on the 2.9.x server, but not for either browser on Longsight's server. Am uploading screen shots of both servers. Am using Win7 (64-bit).

FF20: TestZipLessons.zip
IE9: TestZipLessons2.zip

to test: create a zip file that has index.html at the top level. Upload it with "upload web site". It will work on the Mac and not on IE on Windows. On IE the file will upload into Resources as a ZIP file. On the Mac it will be unzipped and a link to index.html will be inserted on the page.
