The auto submission thread could be suspended if exceptions are not caught. And for version below 12.0 commit , it could cause timed test will not be auto-submitted if exceptions are thrown.
Sorry for the confusion. It should be fixed in 11.5 as per SAM-3170. Updated the fix version.

@Yuanhua Qu , in that case it sounds like the JIRA fields are set wrong.
I have removed 12 and 13 from the affects version on this JIRA then. Is that correct? And I changed the 12 status = none rather than "merge". An affects version of 12 along with a 12 status of merge had indicated that this issue is a problem for 12. The fixversion of 13 also seems to indicate this, so probably that should be removed too?
Was the resolved directly in the 11 branch? In which case I would set the fixversion to 11.5 tentative and set the 11 status to resolved.

@Neal Caidin It won't be an issue for sakai 12 and beyond due to the fix of SAM-3170. It is an issue for sakai 11 and before though. So do you still want to know the steps of how to reproduce the problem for 11 ?
